Town of Pine Knoll Shores issued the following announcement on Nov. 4.
We have been directed by NCDEQ to stop using the brown yard debris bags for yard waste. These are the large bags sold at area hardware stores and at Town Hall.
We are challenging this and hope to have further word before the next pick-up on 9 November. In the mean time, pls do not fill your debris in these bags and place them on the right-of-way.
