Town of Emerald Isle issued the following announcement on Oct. 10.
The Town of Emerald Isle's Trucks & Treats returns for a second year on Saturday, October 23, 2021! This free event will be held from 10 a.m. - noon at the Eastern Ocean Regional Access at 2701 Emerald Drive.
The Town's safety vehicles will be on display, and children will receive a goodie bag full of sweet treats at the end. Be on the lookout in your bag for one of the golden tickets that are redeemable for a prize!
Starting October 1, you can register your children, age 12 and under, for this drive-thru Halloween event by contacting Emerald Isle Parks and Recreation at 252-354-6350. Pre-registration is required.
