TOWN OF MOREHEAD CITY: Third Annual Trunk or Treat!

Trunktreat

Town of Morehead City issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.

Mark your calendars for Trunk Morehead City Parks and Recreation Department's third annual Trunk or Treat! This event will take place on Thursday, October 28th from 5:30-7:00 PM on the 1600 block of Fisher Street in Morehead City. “Trunk or Treat” is an opportunity for families to safely trick or treat out of the decorated trunks of parked cars. Kona Ice will be there as well, serving up their yummy shaved ice! We invite participants to be as creative as possible when decorating their trunks, but keep in mind there will be some young children there, so please, nothing too gory! Awards will be given for best costume, as well as best trunk. We will also have outside games like cornhole! Bring the whole family out for a fun and safe Halloween event. We are in need of trunk hosts! Entry is free and highly encouraged. Bring your own treats. Sign up at the Morehead City Recreation Department at 1600 Fisher Street, register online by clicking the credit card registration link on our homepage https://www.moreheadcitync.org/249/Parks-Recreation (There’s no fee, you won’t be charged) or mail entry form to Victoria Ward at Morehead City Parks and Recreation Department, 1100 Bridges Street, Morehead City, NC, 28557.
