County of Carteret issued the following announcement on Sep 24.
The #NCWorks team in Carteret County, in partnership with Hope Mission of Carteret County and Carteret Community College, will hold a Homeless Stand Down on Thursday, Sept. 30, from 10am–2pm, at Crystal Coast Civic Center, 3505 Arendell St., Morehead City, NC.
This event is being held to provide assistance to the unemployed, under-employed and indigent population of Carteret County. While the event highlights #Veterans, all are welcome.
