TOWN OF KILL DEVIL HILLS: National Child Passenger Safety Week is September 19-25

Carseat

Town of Kill Devil Hills issued the following announcement on Sep 17.

Do you know how to properly use and install your child’s car seat? Is the car seat already installed? Is it installed correctly?

If you’re not sure, contact the KDH Police or Fire Department and let their certified staff members assist you. Even if you’ve had your child’s car seat inspected before, it never hurts to have a refresher!

 KDH Police Department: 252-449-5337

 KDH Fire Department: 252-480-4060

(Non-emergency office hours are M-F, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.)

The Fraternal Order of Eagles #4506 Eagle Riders recently gave a monetary donation to the KDH Police Department for the purchase child safety seats. This will allow the police department to provide safe car seats to parents when theirs have been damaged in a car crash.
