County of Currituck issued the following announcement on Jan. 16.
We have some new faces joining us here and we wanted to share this information again on how to receive notifications regarding Currituck County.
Thru Integrated Public Alert & Warning System (IPAWS), FEMA’s national system that provides emergency and life-saving information through radio, TV, and mobile phones using (Wireless Emergency Alerts) WEA. Check your phone settings to be sure your alerts are turned on!
