COUNTY OF CURRITUCK: Safety Tips On How You Take Down Your Decorations

County of Currituck issued the following announcement on Jan. 3.

Have you taken down your decorations?

 We want to know!

Like this post if you have, Heart this post if you have not!

If you haven’t, here are some safety tips!

Power Down! Make sure you unplug items before taking them down.

Did you know ladders are associated with most holiday decoration accidents?

When using a ladder make sure you have it on a solid surface and have a buddy with you!

When packing your beautiful decorations away make sure the box isn’t too heavy, back injuries are probably not on your “new year, new me” list!

We are excited for 2023 and hope you are too!
