TOWN OF EMERALD ISLE: Giving For the Greater Good Drive Supporting OWLS

Town of Emerald Isle issued the following announcement on Nov. 14.

Now through December 15, the Emerald Isle Police Department is collecting items for the Outerbanks WildLife Shelter - OWLS through the Giving for the Greater Good Drive. 

Items can be dropped off at the Police Department at 7500 Emerald Drive. 

Their supply wishlist can be found below, or on their website.

• Trash Bags - 13 and 33 Gallon

• Liquid Laundry Detergent (unscented)

• Puppy Training Pads (disposable or washable)

• Pine Sol, paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissue

• Pine/Aspen Shavings

• Bleach - unscented, Dawn dish soap

• Pedialyte, Lactated Ringer’s (solution)

• Ziplock Freezer Bags - any size

• Unscented baby wipes

• Batteries, all sizes

• Black Oil Sunflower Seeds

• Premium Wild Bird Seed

• Science Diet Feline OPTIMAL Formula

• Purina Naturals dog chow

• Original Cheerios, Rabbit Pellets

• Pond Pellet Fish Food

• Purina Cat Chow (blue bag or green bag)

• Cracked Corn & Whole Corn Start and Grow ‘unmedicated’ Feed

• Raw Nuts—Hard Unshelled—pecans, peanuts, acorns, walnuts, etc.
