On Wednesday, March 19, former Croatan High School standout Keiya Bullock’s current college team, the Guilford Quakers, won 7-3 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Greensboro Pride.
The game took place at Penn-Wright Stadium at Barber Park. This was their second matchup against the Pride this season.
The Quakers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 1 p.m. at Bridgewater Softball Field against Bridgewater Eagles.
Carteret County has scheduled a public hearing on its proposed fiscal year 2026–2027 budget. Residents can review copies starting May 11 and attend a hearing on May 18 to share their views.
