On Wednesday, April 2, former Croatan High School standout Nathan Michalowicz’s current college team, the Averett Cougars, lost 9-8 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Ferrum Panthers.

The game took place at Owen-Fulton Field. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 12 p.m. at Kenneth R. Perry Field against Virginia Wesleyan Marlins.
