On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former West Carteret High School standout CW Bayer’s current college team, the UNC Pembroke Braves, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Charleston Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Sammy Cox Field. This was their second matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Braves’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. at Sammy Cox Field against King Tornado.
