On Tuesday, April 8, former First Flight High School standout Isaac Miles’ current college team, the UNC Greensboro Spartans, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wake Forest Deacons.
The game took place at David F. Couch Ballpark. This was their second matchup against the Deacons this season.
The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at UNCG Baseball Stadium against Wofford Terriers.
Carteret County has scheduled a public hearing on its proposed fiscal year 2026–2027 budget. Residents can review copies starting May 11 and attend a hearing on May 18 to share their views.
