On Tuesday, April 29, former West Carteret High School standout Josh Plisko’s current college team, the Methodist Monarchs, lost 3-0 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets.
The game took place at Armstrong-Shelley Field. This was their first matchup against the Yellow Jackets this season.
It was the last Methodist Monarchs’ game this season
Carteret County has scheduled a public hearing on its proposed fiscal year 2026–2027 budget. Residents can review copies starting May 11 and attend a hearing on May 18 to share their views.
