Town of Morehead City issued the following announcement on March 7.
The right lane will be closed on the bridge which crosses the Newport River for bridge inspection.
The bridge is near W Beaufort Road. Motorists are advised to slow down and follow direction of onsite traffic control.
Road Work Days & Times:
Daily Monday – Wednesday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Start: Mon, Mar 6, 2023, 8:00 AM
End: Wed, Mar 15, 2023, 4:00 PM
Note: Closure will not occur during the weekend, March 11th and 12th.
