On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Croatan High School standout Ryan Bellamy’s current college team, the Chowan Hawks, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Young Harris Mountain Lions.
The game took place at Zell B. Miller Field. This was their first matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. at Zell B. Miller Field against Young Harris Mountain Lions.
Carteret County has scheduled a public hearing on its proposed fiscal year 2026–2027 budget. Residents can review copies starting May 11 and attend a hearing on May 18 to share their views.
