On Sunday, April 6, former Currituck County High School standout Kailey Bryant’s current college team, the Norfolk State Spartans, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks.

The game took place at NSU Softball Field. This was their third matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 4 p.m. at Lois T. Murray Field against Morgan State Bears.
