In the 2022-23 school year, Math scores among the county district rose to 24.1%, an increase of 2.9% from the previous school year when 21.2% of students were considered ready for post-secondary education.
For comparison, North Carolina saw 23.5% of its students meeting or exceeding the ACT benchmarks for Math during this year.
Beyond Math, 34.5% of Hyde County 11th-graders met English college readiness benchmarks in the 2022-23 school year.
