5% of citizens unemployed in Carteret County in 2021

Carteret County recorded an unemployment rate of 5% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 1,624 people out of the 67,944 living in Carteret County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Carteret County has decreased compared to the 5.2% registered in 2020.
