County of Carteret issued the following announcement on Dec. 23.
In anticipation of colder weather, The Salvation Army of Carteret County located at 2800 Bridges Street in Morehead City will open this Saturday, December 24, 2022 as a warming center from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Coffee, Hot Chocolate, snacks and food will be available.
Anyone wanting to get out of the cold can come to The Salvation Army through the Social Services/Administration door.
