Town of Emerald Isle issued the following announcement on Dec. 20.

Pursuant to G.S. 143-129, the Town of Emerald Isle invites sealed proposals from all responsible bidders until 2:00 PM EST on 10 January, 2023 to William Matthias, 7500 Emerald Drive, Emerald Isle, NC 28594. 

Purchase of Multi-Band Mobile & Portable radios and associated equipment

Proposals must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope/package with "Multi-Band Mobile & Portable radios and associated equipment." Complete specifications and other bidding documents may be obtained from the Town’s website at https://www.emeraldisle-nc.org/ and at the Emerald Isle Fire Department 7516 Emerald Drive, Emerald Isle, NC 28594 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday or from William Matthias at bmatthias@emeraldisle-nc.org. 

The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids or award bids to the lowest responsible bidder, taking into account price, features, support, time and other factors specified in the proposals for the performance of the contract.
