Town of Duck issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
On Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 6:00 p.m., the Town Council of the Town of Duck will conduct a public hearing and consider the following ordinance:
Ordinance 22-10 Ordinance Amending the Regulatory Standards for Dune Walkover Structures. This proposal will provide greater flexibility for the elevation of dune walkover structures in certain situations involving primary oceanfront dunes.
You may contact the Community Development Department for more information about this proposal at 252-255-1234. Any person may appear or be represented by an agent to present comments on this proposal. Written comments may be submitted to the Town Council, Town of Duck, P.O. Box 8369, Duck, North Carolina 27949 or via e-mail at councilmeeting@townofduck.com.
