Town of Beaufort issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.
Halloween Week is upon us! There are all kinds of local activities happening this week.
Halloween is celebrated on Halloween in Beaufort. Traditional trick-or-treating activities will occur on Monday, Oct. 31 throughout Town.
Ann Street United Methodist Church's annual Trunk or Treat will start at 4 p.m. on Oct. 31.
Throughout the weekend there are numerous other activities to include the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort's Boo-Fort Trunk or Treat and Trail of Terror at Gallant's Channel on Saturday, Oct. 29. Trunk or Treat activities start at 4 p.m. and the Trail of Terror opens at 5 p.m.
The East Carteret High School Film Club is haunting the trail at the Gallants Channel Annex.
