Town of Kitty Hawk issued the following announcement on Oct. 10.
The ninth Public Meeting for the Dare County 4-Towns Beach Nourishment project will be held on Wednesday, October 12 at 1:30 PM. This meeting occurs every two weeks to provide updates on the projects and answer questions from the public and other stakeholders. It is also an opportunity for resource and regulatory agencies to ask questions about the project and discuss any points of interest. You are welcome to attend in person at the Pitts Center in the Town of Southern Shores located at 5375 N. Virginia Dare Trail, Southern Shores.
