Town of Duck issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.
Join us in celebrating the 100th Anniversary of National Fire Prevention Week at this year's Duck Fire Open House -- Tuesday, October 11th, from 5 PM 'til 7 PM at the Public Safety Building, 1259 Duck Road.
Meet our Duck firefighters, see the department's apparatus and equipment, and learn that “Fire won’t wait. Plan your escape!"
This relaxed, community event will focus on educating everyone about simple but important actions they can take to keep themselves and those around them safe from home fires. Free and open to all ages. Hot dogs & drinks will be provided.
