TOWN OF CEDAR POINT: Recycle Day Wednesday, October 5, 2022

Town of Cedar Point issued the following announcement on Sept. 26.

The Coastal Environment Partnership (CEP) is a public solid waste management authority that serves Carteret, Craven, and Pamlico Counties. CEP provides residents with an environmentally sound and cost effective system of solid waste disposal, and sponsors a series of household Hazardous waste collection days in each of the three counties.

Accepted materials:

Cooking  oil

Drain openers

Batteries

Automotive fluids: gasoline, used motor oil and anti-freeze

Pesticides: Lawn, garden and farm pesticides and fertilizer.

Paint: Latex and oil paints and paint thinners.

              (10 gallons max per vehicle.)
