County of Hyde issued the following announcement on Sept. 19.
Fundamentals of Carpentry Class: October 10th - December 12th, Monday - Thursday from 6pm - 9pm.
This course introduces students to the basics of carpentry. This includes the tools and materials of the trade, specifications, codes, blueprint reading, and plans.
The skills introduced in this class can be applied to home and commercial projects on an introductory level.
Students will have the opportunity at the end of the class to gain their OSHA 10 certificate.
