County of Hyde issued the following announcement on Aug. 22.
Beaufort County Community College is holding a Nurse Aide I-Hybrid Credential class in Hyde County starting August 23. Upon satisfactory completion of the courses, students are eligible to apply for the North Carolina State Certification Examination.
Nurse Aide I, NC Dept of Health Service Regulation Nurse Aide I, NC Dept of Health Service Regulation Nurse aides provide personal care and basic nursing skills in rehabilitation, long-term care, in-home health, and hospitals.
Hybrid classes consist of online instruction on Blackboard and meetings weekly in person.
3:30 pm - 6:00 pm Seated every Tues- Thurs. (Aug. 23 – Dec. 13) at Mattamuskeet High School
