Town of Pine Knoll Shores issued the following announcement on May 19.
See below re: a message from NWS in Newport put out this morning. They're calling for some ugly weather this afternoon.
It appears as though it will not be too bad of a blow if you're in your house. But you probably don't want to be out on a boat or a golf course after 3PM.
