Town of Emerald Isle issued the following announcement on May 4.
Town Offices Closed for Memorial Day
The Town Administration Building and Community Center will be closed on Monday, May 30, in observance of Memorial Day. Regular business hours at these locations will resume on Tuesday, May 31.
The Town Administration Building is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., on weekdays.
The Community Center is open 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. on weekdays.
Emergency Services, including Police, Fire and EMS, will continue to operate on their regular schedules to best serve the community.
Chief Walker Celebrates 35 Years Working in EI
Town staff would like to recognize Emerald Isle Fire Department Chief Bill Walker for his 35 years of service to the community.
His work anniversary was May 1, and we are grateful for his ongoing leadership.
