Town of Pine Knoll Shores issued the following announcement on Apr. 1.
Mark your calendars! Our community cookout is back by popular demand and we are going to make it better then ever! We hope you can all join us as our police officers and firefighters prepare, cook, and serve hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and drinks. The purpose of these cookouts is to give our first responders the opportunity to serve our community in new and exciting ways. It also gives us the chance to enjoy fellowship with each other, hear about issues in our neighborhoods, and work collectively to keep Pine Knoll Shores the paradise it is.
Besides some amazing food prepared by our first responders, there will also be a number of activities for kids to enjoy, so don't forget them at home! We are partnering with some amazing local businesses to bring you this special event and we are incredibly excited to get back to hosting these events. Please join us at our Public Safety Building, located at 314 Salter Path Road, on April 30th from 11am to 2pm for Burgers, Boots, & Badges! This is a rain or shine event!
