Census Bureau: More men than women in Kitty Hawk in 2019

Of the 3,490 people living in Kitty Hawk in 2019, 49.1 percent (1,714) were women and 50.9 percent (1,776) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Outer Banks Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 1,034-to-1,023. In the 65 and over age range, there were 406 females and 344 males.
