A new website is helping to connect organizations with materials that they need when it comes to dealing with COVID-19.

The North Carolina-based and inspired Supply Connector website provides a link for manufacturers and providers through a nationwide platform, snews.com reported on April 9.

Companies can now list their abilities to supply products or inform of their needs, snews reported. This is the first phase of Supply Connector. The website also can allow users to search for finished goods, design validation, labor or materials, snews reported. In the weeks ahead, the site designers plan to add more advanced search and filter functions and more pages to suit the specific needs of regions around the country.

The website is a joint, volunteer effort. Web design agency Status Forward and business management firm Good Talk created it with support from North Carolina Outdoor Recreation Coalition, Office of Outdoor Recreation Industry, Outdoor Gear Builder and Growing Outdoors Partnership.
