Town of Emerald Isle recently issued the following announcement.
Applicants Sought to Fill Vacancies on the Golf Cart Advisory Committee
The Town's local golf cart program continues to increase in popularity, and the Golf Cart Advisory Committee as established by the Board of Commissioners is tasked with promoting the safe use of golf carts, advocating for golf cart owners, identifying strategies to expand golf cart access in a safe manner, fundraising efforts, and other helpful activities. There are several upcoming vacancies on this committee that need to be filled.
Committee membership is open to any permanent or part-time residents of Emerald Isle, and interested members of the Emerald Isle business community. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please complete the applicant questionnaire and submit to Town Clerk Rhonda Ferebee rferebee@emeraldisle-nc.org no later than Friday, January 3, 2020 at 5 pm.
