TOWN OF DUCK: Rotating Art Show: Robin York and Students to be Held October 1

Town of Duck recently issued the following announcement.

ROTATING ART SHOW: ROBIN YORK AND STUDENTS

OCTOBER 1 @ 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Robin York is an award-winning artist who earned her master’s degree in art from East Carolina University and is currently an instructor with the College of the Albemarle in Manteo. She has also taught classes at the Dare County Art Center to students of all ages and all skill levels. For over 35 years, she has been sharing her knowledge and watch as students grow in their creativity. Work from six of her students will on display with hers during this exhibit.

An opening Reception for this exhibit will be held in the First Floor Conference Room of the Duck Town Hall on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. Come meet the artist and view their work.

This exhibit of Robin York with students from the College of the Albemarle in Manteo will be on display Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. August 1 – October 24, 2019 in the first floor Conference Room at Duck Town Hall, 1200 Duck Road. The show will be closed on weekends and holidays.  Rotating Art Shows change quarterly, feature local artists, and are coordinated by volunteers for the Town of Duck.  For more information, visit townofduck.com, or call 252.255.1234
