On Saturday, March 1, former Croatan High School standout Ryan Bellamy’s current college team, the Chowan Hawks, lost 15-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Barton Bulldogs.
The game took place at Hawkins Field. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at Hawkins Field against Barton Bulldogs.
Carteret County has scheduled a public hearing on its proposed fiscal year 2026–2027 budget. Residents can review copies starting May 11 and attend a hearing on May 18 to share their views.
