On Tuesday, April 1, former Currituck County High School standout Tanner McNeal’s current college team, the Erskine Flying Fleet, lost 12-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Limestone Saints.
The game took place at Grier Field. This was their second matchup against the Saints this season.
The Flying Fleet’s next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 2 p.m. at Nixon Field against Barton Bulldogs.
Carteret County has scheduled a public hearing on its proposed fiscal year 2026–2027 budget. Residents can review copies starting May 11 and attend a hearing on May 18 to share their views.
