On Saturday, March 29, former First Flight High School standout Isaac Miles’ current college team, the UNC Greensboro Spartans, won 13-12 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the VMI Keydets.
The game took place at Lamore Field at Gray-Minor Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Keydets this season.
The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 1 p.m. at Lamore Field at Gray-Minor Stadium against VMI Keydets.
Carteret County has scheduled a public hearing on its proposed fiscal year 2026–2027 budget. Residents can review copies starting May 11 and attend a hearing on May 18 to share their views.
