On Friday, March 28, former Croatan High School standout Ryan Bellamy’s current college team, the Chowan Hawks, lost 21-9 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Belmont Abbey Crusaders.
The game took place at Abbey Yard. This was their first matchup against the Crusaders this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 12 p.m. at Abbey Yard against Belmont Abbey Crusaders.
Carteret County has scheduled a public hearing on its proposed fiscal year 2026–2027 budget. Residents can review copies starting May 11 and attend a hearing on May 18 to share their views.
