On Friday, Feb. 28, former West Carteret High School standout Ryland Howell’s current college team, the UNC Asheville Bulldogs, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Stonehill Skyhawks.

The game took place at Greenwood Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Skyhawks this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Greenwood Baseball Field against Stonehill Skyhawks.
