On Wednesday, April 9, former Currituck County High School standout Kylee Schojan’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Carolina Tar Heels.

The game took place at Anderson Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Tar Heels this season.

The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at Wilkins Stadium against Wichita State Shockers.
