On Saturday, March 22, former West Carteret High School standout Hannah Moseley’s current college team, the Chowan Hawks, lost 16-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the North Greenville Crusaders.
The game took place at Jan McDonald Field. This was their first matchup against the Crusaders this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 3 p.m. at Jan McDonald Field against North Greenville Crusaders.
Carteret County has scheduled a public hearing on its proposed fiscal year 2026–2027 budget. Residents can review copies starting May 11 and attend a hearing on May 18 to share their views.
