On Friday, April 4, former First Flight High School standout Porter Braddy’s current college team, the UNC Wilmington Seahawks, won 12-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Hofstra Pride.
The game took place at University Field. This was their first matchup against the Pride this season.
The Seahawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3:50 p.m. at University Field against Hofstra Pride.
Carteret County has scheduled a public hearing on its proposed fiscal year 2026–2027 budget. Residents can review copies starting May 11 and attend a hearing on May 18 to share their views.
