On Saturday, April 5, former Currituck County High School standout Kylee Schojan’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, won 17-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Memphis Tigers.
The game took place at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Tigers this season.
The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 11 a.m. at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium against Memphis Tigers.
Carteret County has scheduled a public hearing on its proposed fiscal year 2026–2027 budget. Residents can review copies starting May 11 and attend a hearing on May 18 to share their views.
