Currituck County High School standout Cannon Pickell’s college team won in NCAA Division I baseball game on Tuesday, April 1

On Tuesday, April 1, former Currituck County High School standout Cannon Pickell’s current college team, the Western Carolina Catamounts, won 14-10 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Appalachian State Mountaineers.

The game took place at Ronnie G. Childress Field at Hennon Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Mountaineers this season.

The Catamounts’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 5 p.m. at Ronnie G. Childress Field at Hennon Stadium against Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs.
