On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Croatan High School standout Ryan Bellamy’s current college team, the Chowan Hawks, lost 17-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Lander Bearcats.
The game took place at Stephen B. Dolny Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Bearcats this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 12 p.m. at Stephen B. Dolny Stadium against Lander Bearcats.
Carteret County has scheduled a public hearing on its proposed fiscal year 2026–2027 budget. Residents can review copies starting May 11 and attend a hearing on May 18 to share their views.
