On Friday, April 18, former Croatan High School standout Ryan Bellamy’s current college team, the Chowan Hawks, lost 11-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Francis Marion Patriots.
The game took place at Sparrow Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Patriots this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at Sparrow Stadium against Francis Marion Patriots.
Carteret County has scheduled a public hearing on its proposed fiscal year 2026–2027 budget. Residents can review copies starting May 11 and attend a hearing on May 18 to share their views.
