County of Hyde issued the following announcement on Jan. 12.

The Ocracoke Planning Advisory Board will convene a public meeting on Thursday, January 12th,

2023 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Ocracoke Community Center. Attendees may join from

the Ocracoke Community Center at 999 Irvin Garrish Hwy, Ocracoke, NC 27960.

The meeting will be broadcast on the Hyde County Public Information Facebook page if

attendees wish to join virtually.

The purpose of the meeting is to continue discussions of outdoor sales ordinances related to

food trucks, stands, and restaurants.

This meeting is open to the public and public comments related to outdoor sales ordinances are

encouraged whether it be in person or through the Facebook Live Chat.
