County of Currituck Parks and Recreation Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 3.

Currituck County Parks and Recreation is offering a Youth Volleyball Skills Clinic for girls ages 8-17.  

The clinic will be held on Jan. 14, 21, and 28 at Jarvisburg Elementary School. 

Each day will be divided into age groups:  age 8-10 (9:00-10:00am); age 11-13 (10:00-11:00am); and age 14-17 (11:00am-12:00pm). 

THE FINAL DAY TO REGISTER IS JANUARY 9. 

A registration fee of $20 may be made in person at the Parks and Recreation office, located in Community Park at the YMCA/Senior Center building.
