If you own property in Currituck County, take advantage of the free Fraud Detection Notification service at the Register of Deeds office. 

After you sign up, you’ll receive an alert any time a document is recorded that matches your name. 

This can help protect you from scams and prevent illegal transactions involving your property! 

Signing up for this free service is easy!
